About Pedal My Way

We're cyclists who got tired of the noise.

Pedal My Way started in 2022 because cycling changed everything for us — and we couldn’t figure out why more people weren’t experiencing that. Not the racing, not the $10k bikes, not the obsessive Strava segments. Just the clarity that comes from moving your body, being outside, and doing something hard on your own terms.

The problem wasn’t that people didn’t want to ride. It was that cycling culture made it feel like you needed to earn your place first. Wrong gear, wrong fitness level, wrong budget — there was always a reason you weren’t quite ready. We built PMW to tear that wall down.

PMW was founded by Mukund Murali and built with the input of riders, coaches, and community members who believed cycling deserved better.

Who This Is For

The PMW rider isn’t chasing a podium. They ride because it clears their head. They train because they want to keep riding for the next 20 years. If a podium finish is in their bucket list, we are happy to help them check it off.

The PMW rider is done with bro science, over-complicated training plans, and gear guides written by people who get paid to recommend expensive stuff.

The People Behind PMW

Mukund Murali — Founder

I’ve been riding, building, and repairing bikes for over 20 years across road, gravel, and trail. I started PMW because most cycling content is built for racers and gear obsessives — not for people who ride because it makes life better.

I’ve trained through CrossFit Level 1 programs and have applied that strength and conditioning methodology to cycling performance for years. Everything on this site — the training content, gear reviews, and fitness tools — is built on that foundation.

PMW is where I put everything I’ve learned into practical, evidence-based content for riders who train for life, not the podium.
